But the reasons why Anthropic stood its ground have very little to do morality, and almost everything to do with the industry positioning itself for what’s next both in politics and machine learning.
Just like the furious and panicked GOP is worried about the midterms, tech is reading the polls and considering the impact of little discussed but highly anticipated ideas in how AI will be deployed and trained within the next five years.
